Drawing at MOBOT

 Beautiful weather on Wednesday at the Botanical Gardens. I did a couple of drawings in my sketchbook before lunch.  First was an installation at the entrance area and the second was a sculpture of large fish in one of the pools by the Linnean house. Two different structures to explore!

Also discovered a Canada goose sitting on her nest and sometime during the day two little fuzzy chicks peeked out from under her.  She became a mother on Mother's Day!

Ginger is the cutest dog and so fun to draw.

That wispy fur and that dark nose and expressive dark eyes!

!!!!!!!!!So happy to learn that this drawing has been selected to be in the Webster Arts small works show that opens March 2nd at the Webster Public Library.  A closing reception will be at 6pm on March 31st.  A people's choice award will be given at the reception.  Voting can be done at the library throughout the show starting March 2nd.  Hope you can visit and vote for your favorite piece!!!!!!!!
