5x7 Gouache painting

It's been a while since I painted in gouache so I struggled with this a bit.  The house is really a dark green color but it blended in with the surroundings so much I used artistic license to change it to brown.  I think I was able to capture the scene somewhat and hope to go back and paint it again in the fall colors.

Kirkwood drawing

 Honey Bee’s

5x7 graphite and white conte on toned paper

Had a fun time drawing on a corner in Kirkwood of this restaurant that has the most creative menu of biscuits. Enjoyed a delicious lunch. This drawing will be hanging inside with other local artists through the generosity of the owners.

 Dog Portraits in Graphite

5x7 graphite drawings

As most of you who follow me know I like to draw.  I love drawing from life, but I do small portraits from photos occasionally for people.  These two cute little pups are the latest ones I've done.
